Re: Nouvelles pour nous!

Hi Michelle, 

This is good news. I'm so looking forward to joining the space again as I shared already. 

I understand that other mates will have preference if they have already purchased a card or kept connected through online classes. 
Would you please let me know what are the options for me? I'm still interested in the YTT you mentioned if that comes to be materialized. Just as a step in learning and understanding my body and self better. 

If you'll keep the daily schedules listed on the blog then I'm sure I can figure what the options are there (: 

Looking forward to your reply! FYI I can do all evening except for Mondays until December. So I'll be happy to start slowly maybe with twice a week yoga.

It has to do with the category of teaching, that the Centre de Yoga du Marais adheres to.

I would like to add that I do have a thermometer, a scanner and I will be taking the temperature of each one that comes to the center.
If this is a problem for you, please do continue with us on line.  I would like to do all I can to be part of our beautiful city coming out of
this pandemic.

Please reserve for classes in advance and I will guide you with forms of payment that will be convenient for us, if
you do not already have a card with me.

Le Centre de Yoga du Marais est la catégorie R, lieux d'enseignement et centres de loisirs.

Bonjour mes élèves!
En raison de les nouvelles annonces on a du respecter encore du temps avant de se mettre dans la salle.
On va le réévaluer chaque deux semaines, et j'espère avec beaucoup de prudence entre nous tous, un respect
d'un à les autres, on peut retrouver notre vie qu'on a bien apprécie avant.

Je continue sur vidéos et je vous envoie le lien pour çe soir et demain soir à 18h30 si vous aimez faire un cours d'essaie avec moi dans cette façon, juste pour essayer :)

Re: La rentrée 2020

I hope that your heart is well, and I feel grateful for receiving your emails. 
Wasn't aware about the sad way your dad transitioned from here. I'm sorry to read. 

I can feel you had a good Summer close to loved ones, and Nature. Thanks for sharing cuz it's inspiring. 

Has been challenging times, no hesitation. I'm finally back to Paris after more than 5 months stranded Uruguay — which brought so many lessons, and balance. 

I have to say that I really look forward to joining your classes at the center, and I absolutely understand the measures you're taking now. So I'll patiently wait until it's safe to meet in person again, and to deep dive into this journey trusting your guidance.

J'espère que mon petit mot vous trouverez en bonne santé et que vous avez pu profiter de quelques jours cet été dans la nature, sans soucis et sans souci pendant ce temps surréal.  Il est tellement important en cette période que nous prenions bien soin de notre santé mentale.  Beaucoup d'entre vous savent que j'ai passé l'été en Allemagne et que j'ai profité de ce temps pour passer avec ma mère qui vit là-bas.  Après le décès de mon père en avril, seul en Australie, sans personne pour le rejoindre, il était plus important que jamais pour moi d'utiliser ce temps que nous avons à notre disposition de manière judicieuse.  J'ai apprécié de vous voir dans les classes de Zoom/Skype, et c'est ainsi que je souhaite continuer à vous guider pendant un peu plus de temps.  Ma priorité est votre sécurité à tous.  Rien n'est plus important que cela.
 
Je vais continuer le programme que j'ai établi pour l'été.  J'ai aimé ces cours et ces horaires.  J'ajoute un cours de base pour débutants pour les nouveaux étudiants en yoga qui
comprend des informations utiles sur l'anatomie, qui sont idéales pour les débutants afin de pratiquer en toute sécurité.

Je continuerai à rendre les cours conviviaux en vidéo, avec des informations utiles, des idées pour se soigner et l'utilisation d'accessoires.  Comment faire vos propres ajustements sur votre propre corps, etc.
 
Comment payer.
Il est recommandé d'utiliser des cartes de cours.
La carte de 10 cours coûte 150 euros. La carte est valable pendant 6 mois.
 
Lorsque le moment sera venu de passer au studio, ces cours seront pour les détenteurs de la carte, s'il vous plaît. Au cas par cas, je peux aussi vous voir en privé au studio pendant cette période pour une session qui répond à vos besoins.  Nous devons porter des masques.
 
 
J'ai eu une belle pause, ma pratique me maintient en paix et c'est ce que je vous souhaite.

Dear Friends,
I hope this finds you in good health and that you were able to enjoy some days this summer in Nature feeling free from cares and worry for a while.  It is so important in this time that we take good care of our mental health.  Many of you know I spent the summer in Germany utilizing this time to spend with my mom who lives there.  After my dad passed away in April, alone in Australia with no one able to come to him, it was ever more important to me to use this time we have wisely.  I have enjoyed seeing you on the Zoom/Skype classes, and it is this way that I wish to continue guiding you for a bit more time.  My priority is all of yours safety.  Nothing is more important than that.
 
I will continue the schedule I made for the summer for you.  I liked these classes and times.  I am adding a Basic Beginner's class for new students to yoga which
includes useful information about the anatomy that is great for beginner's to practice safely.
 
Mondays 18h30-19h45 Hatha Doux
Tuesdays 8-9h15 Early morning get up and go!
Tuesdays 18h30-19h45  Yoga for beginners
Wednesdays 18h30-19h45  Hatha II  (no class on Sept 9)
Thursdays 8-9h15 Early morning yoga get up and go!

Fridays 12h00-13h15  All levels
 
I will continue to make the classes video friendly with useful information, ideas for self-care and using props.  How to make your own adjustments on your own body, etc.
 
How to pay.
Class cards are recommended.
10-class card is 150  The card is good for 6 months.
 
When the time comes that we can transition to the studio, these classes will be for card holders, please. On a case by case basis, I can also see you privately at the studio during this time for a session that meets your needs.  We must wear masks.

Michelle checking in :) + YTT

Hello Dear Students,

This early in September it's hard to say how long the online classes will continue it really depends on  how this virus continues to grow,

but I foresee moving some classes to the center in tiny groups of 3-5, maybe even next month.  Again, we just don't know.  I'm paying close attention to all the information out there and relying on my instincts too, about doing the right thing.

 

I do know how to keep us all safe though and have gotten some great advice from other yoga studio owners.  But, personally I feel good teaching from home for this month, and the vast majority of my students feel the same way.

 

Equally important, is the need for society, community to be together and I think it is really an important moment to do the YTT.  Our group is small and I know how we could manage in our studio, with masks when we are nearer and me in a mask all the time.  I've gotten some great advice from a good friend who just led a YTT and the recent graduates were so happy for the time they made for this, for their mental health.

 

I have also decided that to better manage the studio, it is easier for me to be the exclusive teacher.  It's quite fatiguing keeping up on compliance with the other renters and 

I can assure always the cleanliness of the place when it is just me.  When we are back, our temperatures will also be taken before each session and we will all do the best to keep each other safe.

~ 17 weekends that we decide upon together over a 5-6 month period.  We meet in the afternoons to early evening.

 

~ Your classes are free with me during the course of the YTT
