Méditations du dimanche

Bonjour tout le monde!

I hope you are well and serene.  I would like to offer our meditation Sunday each Sunday while we
are in our homes.  We can do this through Zoom, meeting at 18h30 we meditate in a group.  You are welcome to exit group anytime and meditate on your own, because we still remain together.
I will also be posting mantras here for you.
In Blog History, 2007, you can find the words for our mantras in French, English and Sanskrit.

class tonight 18:30

Hello dear Students

Here is the link for our Skype class tonight.   (Actually Skype is on delay due to heavy traffic)  Please let me know if you are attending tonight and I will invite you either 
through Skype or Zoom.  If you don't have Zoom downloaded, yet please do so.  It's quick and easy.

There is a record button on your screen if you wish to record the session.  OK by me.  

I would like to continue our classes in March, through March 30 Monday evening slot and Tuesday March 31 12h-13h lunchtime.
After which I propose we take the month of April off.  This way I can suspend the cards of the unlimited students for a month and they can
add a month at the end of their abonnement.  I believe we will all be able to be back together at the center in May.  Let's believe and make it
happen as conscientious citizens!

I feel a need to take the break that this very special time has given us, to go deeper in practice, in home life, in the creative projects that I have shelved for a few years that need my attention and nourish my soul.  I have a book proposal that has been in limbo for too long and I need to work on this.  It requires a lot of focus and attention, just as attentive as I want to be when I teach you.  Although the online format gives me no feedback, it's so nice to be together. .  So I propose we meet on Sundays at 18h30 for meditation, check in with each other and then you can take the hour off-line in silence or stay with me on the screen.  I have lots of ideas for our meditation.

In addition to 

These apps have excellent production value.  Yoga Anytime features one of my important teachers, Peter Sterios.  You will recognize how much his teachings have
influenced me.  They are offering 30 days for free.  And you get to see California, and have class anytime you want! :)

From me, here is my blog with the page of the mantras we sing at the center and during meditations.  I will also go into the CYM and record them for you and put them on the blog, as well.
You can then sing and see the Center!  :)

Re: Hatha Yoga Live Skype-the planning

Hello Michelle, 

Hoping to find you well and happy !
Couldn't get back home in Paris from Uruguay. Got locked in my home country, life knows why I believe… 

I'm really missing your Yoga classes. Have followed your emails. I'm wondering if the Skype conferences are happening. Time difference would make it challenging, but I'm happy to find space during working hours to have a yoga break. 

Looking forward to your reply, and to returning soon to your soothing space at Yoga du Marais!

Hatha Yoga Live Skype-the planning

Hello again dear students,
The news progresses ever more stridently.  I am doing some research on how we can live feed together.
Many of you do not have social media but everyone can probably Skype.
We can Skype conference together on video up to 25 people.

If this is interesting for a try-out let me know if you are free for lundi Hatha Doux 18h30 sur Skype and we can set this up.
If this is successful we can do it for all these classes:

Staying calm and healthy together


Mes chères élèves,

Je suis avec vous, nous cherchons des decisions responsables et je voudrais continuer à offrir une pratique de yoga de qualité et en sécurité.

Car le yoga renforce notre système immunitaire, améliore notre réponse dans les situations intenses et nous permet de prendre les bonnes décisions - si nécessaire dans des moments difficiles comme ceux-ci.


Pour que vous restiez calmes et bien, en gérant le stress et en créant la paix, j'initier le protocole ici:

Tailles des classes

Je limite le nombre d'élèves à 8.   SVP réservez en avance pour être sur d'avoir une place.

On aerie la salle avant et après le cours.  Vous devez emmener votre tapis.  Il n'y auras plus les tapis au centre pour
maintenant.  Lavez les mains avant et après les cours pendant 20 secondes.  You sing Happy Birthday to your hands 2x.
That's 20 seconds.  :)
La lavande est un astringent, je continue de faire des infusions subtile est calmante.

Emmenez une serviette?   C'est une bon barrier entre vous et les props.  Aussi pour la salle de bain.  Serviette collective, out.  :)

L'atelier de dimanche 15 mars est annulé.  Je suis désolée.  On aura une autre occasion. 

En anglais:

I will keep the studio clean but be conscious of your touching the props and use the disinfectant.  You can bring a little towel which is a good
barrier between you and the props.  Bring your own large towel to cover the blankets in yoya nidra, Tuesday evenings.

I will keep using lovely infusions, lavender is non-allergic and astringent, good for us.

Hydrate, sleep well and listen to your body.  Eat very fresh fruits and vegetables.  If you are not feeling well, again listen to your body and please
don't come to class.  I feel responsible for all of you and would ask you kindly to go home if you have a cough or are sneezing.

I will cancel this Sunday's atelier, please have a lovely de-toxifying home practice taking good care of yourself.

We will get through this.  Panic is not in my vocabulary.

Apropos de Me…..

IF I feel I am in anyway unwell, I will notify you immediately and quarantine myself for 14 days until I am sure I can be out in
the public, again.  
We will stay connected no matter what is going on.
