Dear Students and Friends of the Centre de Yoga du Marais,
As I am getting accustomed to January being our second la rentrée of the year, let me wish you all a heartfelt welcome back to your routine, your practice and the new year resolutions you have undoubtedly at least thought about if not already have put into practice. January, like September is a time for another clean start. When we feel inspiration lag, we can use these benchmarks to give us a little boost. I hope you have had a wonderful restful holiday, have gotten some good reading in and are ready to renew the spirit in your practice. Or, perhaps you need just a good detox?
2010 is welcoming some new teachers and classes to the Centre.
Frédérique Wurz and Maria Marin, recent graduates of the CYM's Teacher Training program, as well as Laetitia Camilleri are adding new daytime yoga classes. You can read more about these new teachers to the centre and their classes on the blog, and in the meantime here are their new hours:
Monday 12h00-13h00. A lunchtime yoga class with Maria as a great alternative to the break in your day.
Wednesday 12h30-13h30 with Laetitia incorporating Pilates mat exercises into your practice.
Saturday 14h15-15h45 a new Saturday class with Frédérique. Frédérique will start January 2 and the last community class until further notice will take place at 16h00. The community classes will be put on hold for a while due to the 2010 Teacher Training program which takes place Saturdays and Sundays. Since I won't be available to teach my monthly workshops, I'll still be happy to give specialized classes inside my regular schedule.
The Centre's full schedule is posted on the blog.
Amanda will commence Saturday, Jan 2.
Zoe and Maria will commence their classes on Monday, January 11.
I have just received word that Joyson is away until March 6.
I start back January 4.
Monthly offered meditations will continue and the next evening of meditation will be Sunday, January 17 (time change 19h30). As usual followed by our scrumptious buffet. Only thing asked for is a contribution to the meal.
I send you all near and far my warmest thoughts and wishes for a year of peace and joy, love and light in every corner of your life.
namaste,
Michelle
